February Recap!

Although February is short, it was a month filled with fun for Chi Omega. Love was in the air with unforgettable events including Make A Wish card making, Galentines Sisterhood, and our Spring Semester Date Party. Let's recap!

MAW Card Making:

On February 10th our chapter gathered together for one of the sweetest and most heartwarming events of the month - Make A Wish Valentines Card making. Chi Omegas came together to make cards, spend time with friends and celebrate being with the people we love. The room was filled with heart. By the end of the night our house was full of cards spreading our love to the strongest kiddos fighting unimaginable battles!

Galentines Sisterhood:

Our Chi Omega sisters have created lifelong bonds. They say you are who you surround yourself with and these Chi Omega ladies are the best of the best. They represent academic excellence, connection with University of Iowa and most of all embody what it means to truly be sisters through lifting each other up when they are down and cheering them on as they are achieving their biggest goals. So of course, we had to celebrate our Sisterhood! Huge shoutout to our Internal Sisterhood Directors Marlee Trunnel and Oliva Kinnamon who created a night better than anyone could imagine. Their dedication to this event truly does not go unnoticed. Through the adorable banners, bracelet charm bar and yummy dinner they hit it out of the park! Most of all this event was the perfect way to show all the love between our sisters. 

XOXO Chi O Date Party:

The Chi Omegas felt all the love at our Valentine’s day themed date party on February 20th! Our fabulous Internal social Directors, Stella Evans and Gabby Lawrence, planned the best night at Fieldhouse, downtown Iowa City. Chi Omega sisters gathered together to dress up, dance the night away and spend time with our favorite people. More than anything this night gave us the perfect chance to celebrate the people who make our chapter so incredible. We are already counting down the days til our next date party, but for now we’ll be replaying the memories from this heart-filled February night! 

We are thankful for the memories we made in February and can’t wait for the rest of the Spring Semester spent with our sisters!
