Dance Marathon 32!

On February 6th and 7th, the University of Iowa held its 32nd annual Dance Marathon. So many of our Psi Beta sisters were involved in this year’s Big Event! Serving on various committees, stepping into leadership roles, and dancing their hearts out, our sisters had the best time supporting such an incredible cause. Every year, we look forward to dancing side by side.

This year’s event raised an incredible $1,695,270.32!

Here’s more from one of our members:

“Being on Dance Marathon leadership this year has been more than a blessing — it has changed my life. Dance Marathon is a community that shows up every day to fight for something bigger than ourselves. I’ve watched this organization refuse to accept that only 4% of federal funding goes toward pediatric cancer research and instead push for more. No matter our backgrounds or differences, we are united by one purpose. We fight for a cure. We fight for the kiddos on Level Eleven. We fight so no parent ever has to hear the words, ‘your child has cancer.’ I am so grateful to be a part of this family. I love you DM!”
– Hannah Capes, PC’24.

We are so proud to have been named the Top Panhellenic Fundraising Chapter! Our chapter has raised an incredible $13,491.46 — and that number is still climbing! We are beyond thrilled to keep pushing, growing, and showing up for this amazing cause. We love Dance Marathon and cannot wait to see all that DM33 will hold!
