Chi Omega Mom's Day 2019
We love being able to spend time with our wonderful mothers and Women special to us on our annual Mom’s Weekend.
One of our favorite events is our Brunch and silent auction, where Chi Omega raises money towards granting the wish of a child with a critical medical condition. Moms brought a variety of fun and fabulous baskets that guests could bid on to support Make-A-Wish. A highlight of the brunch is also hearing each of our Seniors share love for their Mom or other special woman in their life. We also enjoyed showing our moms the Chi Omega house, shopping, eating with friends, and enjoying Iowa City together.

“This year I have the amazing opportunity serving Chi Omega as the external sisterhood director, meaning I got to organize one of the chapter’s favorite events- Moms day! Working with my amazing chairs and the other girls on my committee to create a memorable day for both Chi Omegas and their mother’s was truly so much fun. Even better was the actual event, when mom’s came to Iowa City to share a meal with their daughters and hear the seniors recount their favorite memories with their moms and express their gratitude for everything they’ve done for them! Truly one of the most special days of the year and I’m so lucky I got to help be a part of it!”
We are constantly inspired by our Moms and the special women in our lives who have helped raise us. They love and support they constantly give us does not go unnoticed. Whether at our philanthropy events, through parent’s club, or their everyday support through our college endeavors and life choices. We are so lucky to have these women in our lives who have taught us to be strong, smart, selfless, and kind.
